Optical Biosensors

Optical biosensors for modern medical diagnostics!

  • Mission: Research of new biophotonic tools for the study and quantification of molecular targets in medical diagnostics
  • Vision: Advanced optical affinity biosensors that enable rapid and sensitive detection of molecular biomarkers and deepen understanding of biomolecules and their interactions related to disease onset and development

Understanding oncological diseases at the molecular and cellular level represents a significant challenge with implications for the development of new drugs or new diagnostic and therapeutic tools. We pursue research of plasmonic affinity biosensors that represent a promising technology for the detection of biomolecules and the investigation of biomolecular interactions.
