RP 3 - Biomarkers of cancers and cancer diagnostics

Illuminate the unknown, translate the findings, and improve the outcome of patients with malignant disease.

COLLABORATION WITH INFRASTRUCTURES

Mission: To drive advancements in precision oncology through the molecular characterization of cancer cells, biomarker discovery, and the development of non-invasive diagnostics and patient monitoring strategies.
Vision: To improve patient outcomes by translating cutting-edge molecular research into effective tools for early cancer detection, prognosis prediction, and personalized therapies.

We focus on the molecular characterization of cancer, with a primary emphasis on colorectal and pancreatic tumors. To address this task, we conduct cutting-edge molecular epidemiological studies to identify biomarkers linked to cancer predisposition, early detection, treatment response, chemoresistance, and long-term prognosis.
